![]() I personally didn't schedule my exam until I had completed all my learning, hands-on, practice exams, etc. There are plenty of possibilities in the AWS Free Tier. Try not just to go through materials, but also try to get your hands dirty with AWS stuff, and gather some hands-on experience. You will come back later to the notes, trust me. It is not required, however, I do recommend writing specific notes from the lectures, because it is a lot of stuff. Whatever you picked, dedicate some time to go through all the topics, even if it's 2-3 hours a day, by the end of the week that's 14-21 hours dedicated to studying for the most popular IT certification in 2022. Someone is more comfortable with official training and dedicated time, and someone is more comfortable going with an online course, at your own pace. You can also take the official AWS training for this exam if possible, but it is a matter of preference. Also, try to read the AWS Well architectures framework and other major whitepapers related to the SAA-C03. What I find also useful is the Tutorials Dojo SAA-C03 study path, with the list of all the useful resources. Adrain's course is a one-time fee of $40, however, his learning material is impeccable, I recommend his course material to anyone at any stage of their journey to cloud & AWS! For this certification that is more than enough, however, if you need more then they have it for you!įor the persons that have more time on their hands >45.9 hours of content and desire a deeper understanding of the technologies and services within the certification to not only the certification but truly understand them on a deeper level then I definitely recommend Adrian Cantrill's course AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C03. A Cloud Guru is a paid subscription company that offers multiple plans, I recommend the personal Plan-Basic. It's a great choice for someone that doesn't have the most time and needs an interactive way of learning by doing hands-on labs, quizzes, etc. After I tried several ones, I made the decision of taking A Cloud Guru's AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02) course, and don't worry, they have updated the course to match the new version of the exam (SAA-C03). There are plenty of courses on learning platforms such as Udemy, Cloud Academy, A Cloud Guru, etc. Try to have all the necessary resources stored in one place.įrom all the resources you collected, try to establish your learning path, based on your experience and the time you plan to invest. The next thing I did was begin collecting relevant resources I plan to use for studying. Well, the starting point for me was the exam guide which is located on the main page of the exam where you could also download the sample questions that AWS provides. ![]() This post was written to help my dad (you got this pops!) pass the certification, however, it's not exclusive to my dad and can be taken advantage of by anyone interested in the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate exam (SAA-C03) including his co-workers that are also interested in passing this cert. ~ Please right-click and "open link in new tab" for all linksīy Aug 30, 2022, the (SAA-C02) version of the exam will be retired and the (SAA-CO3) will be the new version of the exam, however, all information and resource that I will be providing will prepare you for the new version of the exam (SAA-CO3). I passed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate exam (SAA-C02) on Nov 12, 2021.

![]() Regardless, let’s see what the best ways to ramp outside of green are and, in the end, whether or not we can build something we can legitimately call a non-green ramp deck. What if, though, you wanted to ramp hard but not play green? Or, asked another way, how do non-green decks best match up their ramp attempts against those of green decks? Well, honestly, it’s going to be tough, as the non-green ramp cards don’t really pack the same punch or have the same level of efficiency as the green ones. Long story short, if you want to build a green deck that ramps, there’s a pretty simple template to follow. Rampant Growth, Sakura-Tribe Elder, and Farseek are all very similar to one another as well, as are Skyshroud Claim and Explosive Vegetation. The level of redundancy that green provides in creating this resource advantage is also very important. So i should just watch the background in the middle and use my peripheral vision?Īre you just contradicting yourself? You said you shouldn't look at a marker but then you also said to not follow the notes. If you're focusing your sight trying to tell when the notes enter the marker to time your presses no wonder you're nuking your eyes. Originally posted by RevolutionTime:You shouldn't try to look at the marker to tell when to press, it's really not what you're supposed to do. Now I don't want to gauge my eyes out with a spoon after 1h of playing anymore. What I do personally is not focusing on the moving parts at all, actually you don't even need to focus your eyes on anything in particular at all if you want to take it to the extreme, and use your sight only to tell what kind of pattern is coming up (up/down/both/hold, you can tell this very easily even if you aren't focusing your sight), and rely purely on hearing and rithm to get the timing right. Don't do this either, headaches assured.įor the beginner songs both of these strategies work because of the slow scroll speeds and the fewer notes, and it's fine for getting the jist of when to press according to the rithm, but after you get experienced at the game you should learn to rely on rithm alone instead of visuals. If you focus on the crosshair it will be extremely difficult to track the fast moving notes with your peripheral vision which will put enormous strain on your sight, and you'll see the notes blurred putting extra strain on your vision by trying to refocus all the time. Absolutely don't do this, unless you want to train to compete for the title of strongest eye muscles of all time. ![]() If you look at the notes you follow them with your sight and your eyes have to jump left and right very quickly which is extremely tiring for your rectus muscles around your eye. ![]() I actually hope the review bombing doesn't hurt the developer in the long run, so that they can continue to support and add content to the game. You shouldn't try to look at the marker to tell when to press, it's really not what you're supposed to do. It sucks, but the Hololive talents will be fine without it and though I personally enjoyed watching them, this decision doesn't hurt my enjoyment of the game. Honestly this isn't the first time a streamer has been shut down from streaming a game and it won't be the last Hell look how long it took Nintendo as a whole to be half-reasonable about streaming policy on YouTube and such. It's unfortunate it had to end in a sour way, but it's almost an inevitability when dealing with a China-based publisher and with pressure on them there probably isn't much they COULD feasibly do besides cut ties. I feel the hate should be directed more at China and it's government, as well as the online mob that gets paid by the Chinese government to spread this kind of hatred for anything that doesn't wholly agree with the "motherland" and it's One-China policies. ![]() Seemingly the developer (PeroPeroGames) was even puzzled by the sudden decision Heck, PPG has been in many of Hololive's streams and donated, as well as obviously having one of the Hololive members' songs in the game at the time. Typing all that stuff is a pain not because it’s difficult to understand the syntax, but because it just takes so much time to type all that out. The biggest reason to use Markdown is that it’s essentially shorthand HTML. Why would I want to type out all that code- John Siracusa style-just for images? I even considered omitting image captions entirely, as the ‘standard’ Markdown image syntax of !(image link) is parsed perfectly by markdown-it. Here’s what I found: Are You Getting It? Ĭasey was using regular-old HTML HTML5 for his images.Īt first I scoffed at this. for the past year, I peaked at the source for one of his posts containing an image with a caption. Unsure of what image syntax Camel would support, I followed Casey’s lead. In order for those posts to get parsed correctly by markdown-it, I would have to make changes to the image syntax. But that didn’t make the old posts formatted with MultiMarkdown 3 syntax play nice with Camel. Using Byword for future posts was an excellent prospect. This nullified my reliance on MultiMarkdown Composer and made it so that I could go back to using Byword. So the easy image syntax I used in the example above would not work using markdown-it and Camel. ![]() markdown-it, even with plugins, does not support any of the nifty image syntax offered by MultiMarkdown 3 and MultiMarkdown Composer. Within Camel, perhaps Byword could find a new purpose? Images In Camel ¶Ĭamel uses an npm package called markdown-it, which is what actually takes the Markdown files and parses them to HTML. Moving to Camel was an opportunity to re-examine my writing workflow. Still, I was stuck with the latter due to my dependence on the full MultiMarkdown 3 spec for easy image captions. Metaclassy did a great job with gradients and shadow effects, as well as other pleasing design touches. But it’s true: Byword’s UI/UX is just better than MultiMarkdown Composer’s. Yes, I realize how weird it may seem for me to describe a plain-text editor as homey. While MultiMarkdown Composer surely got the job done, it never quite felt like home. MultiMarkdown Composer was the only way to achieve easy image captions, so I started using it instead of Byword. The template files are based on Handlebars for auto-table-of-contents, and most importantly, lots of nifty image syntax.įor instance, if I wanted to embed an image with caption in MultiMarkdown Composer, this is all I would have to write: !Īnd this is the resultant HTML: Caption īyword, for whatever reason, doesn’t offer easy image-captioning. These template files specify page attributes such as page headers, page footers, etc. Casey designed his blogging engine such such that camel.js generates all the posts and the rest of the website using these template files. ![]() Unlike Squarespace, in Camel, having metadata within the actual Markdown files is absolutely necessary. I wish Camel supported metadata in the format that Byword supports, but it doesn’t out of the box. The metadata’s there when viewing the Markdown source, but disappears when parsed to HTML. Byword's MultiMarkdown-style metadata and HTML parseīyword’s metadata support is everything I would want in a plain text filing system. Byword would then omit that when parsed to HTML. Byword is smart enough to know that properly-formatted text placed at the top of the document denotes metadata. ![]() All of my posts since TheOverAnalyzed 2.0 had Title:, Date:, and Link: metadata. Metadata ¶ Previously On TheOverAnalyzed ¶īefore transitioning to Camel, I adopted a hybrid metadata system inspired by both Byword’s MultiMarkdown guide, and, perhaps fortuitously, Camel itself. In preparation for the move, I made tweaks to metadata, images, and footnotes. It was, however, extremely time-consuming. ![]() Modifying my plain text files for use with Camel wasn’t particularly difficult. Not only would redirects have to get sorted out, I also needed to make sure that the old posts looked correct in the new platform.
